Lisa Birck from Nykarleby.
« on: april 21, 2013, 07:11:23 am »

Greetings.

I have Viktor Mattsson Bäcksholm born 24 Jul 1880 in Kalljärvi, Purmo. Married 1st time to Anna Hilma Johansdotter Härjebacka or Backlund on 8 April 1903 in Purmo.
She died on 29 Nov 1936 Purmo.

Now, I belive Viktor Bäcksholm married a 2nd time to Lisa Birck in Nykarleby. Date unknown (after 1736).
Can someone help me verify this?

Also, I found these records:
Found following on Nykarleby gravgård Kvarter 5 [gravvård 435—602]
546. Johan Gustav Birck * 25/11 1859 † 28/1 1942
Charlotta Birck * 10/10 1950 † 29/9 1913
Vieno Birck * 15/10 1924 † 12/5 1991
Anna Lisa * 14/3 1916 † 6/9 1931
Liisa Valpuri Bäcksholm os. Virtanen * 3/3 1883 † 24/5 1975

Could this Liisa Valpuri Bäcksholm be the same as Lisa Birck?

Thank You.

Greetings to All.

Charlotta Birck is born 10/10 1850; Not 1950 as previous posted.
In marriage record it says she is from "Muhos". Thus, I wrote on family page "Muhos, Muhos, Uleåborg"

Hello,

there is a girl named Liisa Valpuri, who was born in Muhos 3rd March 1883. Her parents were Isak Henriksson Wiittanen b. 4.11.1850
and his wife Liisa Pekantytär Häikiö b. 10.1.1847.

I cannot see any connection between Birk/Birck and Liisa Valpuri Wiitanen (Wiittanen), unless the Birck family adopted her or she was
married with somebody from the Birck family.

It also seems like Charlotta Birck was not born in Muhos, because there is no Charlotta born in Muhos 10th October 1850.

To find out the truth of Liisa Wiitanen, later Bäcksholm, the only way is to send a query to the Nykarleby parish.

Thank You this information about her parents.
Liisa was the second wife to Johan Gustav Birck. (marriage date unknown to me).
....................................

Am I correct in saying that Isaac Henriksson Wiittanen birth date is 7 Sep 1850; not 4 Nov 1750?

Born / Christened 7.9.1850 28.9.1850
Village / Farm Laitasaari
Father Inh: Hen:   Wiittanen
Mother   Walborg     31
Child Isaac
